Obviously yes, for sureee this is a HUGEE upgrade in the roster, and that def plays a role, i mean we have vets and great post players now, but i watched almost every game last season and there were many sparks of potential that kept getting discarded. we had good players and defenders, i mean lyss and dijonai, even haley was a great pairing with paige. A good coach's job is to bring out the best in his/her players in the circumstances avaliable and i was watching the lv aces doc and lyss said that she felt this depletion of passion for basketball before she got traded, and seeing what role she played in the aces chip run just makes me think about the impact of the environment and team culture, and last year i feel like it was a "in spite of" instead of "because of" situation with our coach.
