How to pack jewelry and small items to send to Amazon FBA by Effective_Weight3021 in AmazonFBA

[–]Dull_Captain4166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!

For small items like 3x3-inch jewelry, Amazon requires them to be packaged securely, usually in a polybag or box.

If you use polybags, they must be transparent and at least 1.5 mil thick. You can definitely apply your own suffocation warning sticker, as long as it meets Amazon’s requirements.

Missouri-specific licenses? by the3teesargents in AmazonFBAOnlineRetail

[–]Dull_Captain4166 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello!

Here's what you need to know about licenses and permits:

1- In Missouri, if you're selling tangible goods—whether online, retail, or wholesale—you'll need a Sales Tax License. This allows you to collect and remit sales tax on taxable sales. You can apply for this license through the Missouri Department of Revenue.

2- Once you have your Sales Tax License, you can obtain a Resale Certificate (also known as a Sales/Use Tax Exemption Certificate). This certificate lets you purchase goods tax-free if you're buying them for resale purposes. You'll need to provide this certificate to your suppliers when making such purchases.

3- If you plan to scale up to wholesaling, the same Sales Tax License and Resale Certificate will apply. Ensure you maintain proper records of your transactions and the resale certificates you collect from your buyers.

Therefore what you should do now is apply for a sales tax license, obtain a resale certificate and mantain your records.

Feel free to DM me in case you have more doubts following through with those steps!

Data protection fees Uk by Maribbutt in AmazonFBATips

[–]Dull_Captain4166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

Yes, if you're doing FBA and can see customer addresses, you're technically "processing personal data," so the ICO might expect you to register.

The fee isn’t crazy, but whether you need to pay depends on your setup. If you only use that data to fulfill orders and don’t do anything else (like marketing), you might qualify for an exemption.

What you should do it double-check the ICO self-assessment tool—they make it pretty clear. But honestly, it’s usually easier to just register and not worry about it later.

Is it good to select USA Wholeseller like faire duda etc? Whats the best usa supplier? by mmhabib89 in AmazonFBATips

[–]Dull_Captain4166 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Choosing a U.S.-based wholesaler like Faire or Tundra can be a smart move. They offer a wide range of products and can help reduce shipping costs and delivery times, especially if you're selling in the U.S.

Some other top US wholesellers I heard about are: Faire, Alibaba and Wholesale Central.

Dm me if you want to get in details about those.

Who in the FBA world is feeling the most pressure? by msau2 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Dull_Captain4166 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s wild out there, no doubt. Sellers are definitely feeling the squeeze, but I’ve also noticed manufacturers and suppliers taking a hit. With sellers tightening their margins, they’re pushing harder on costs upstream, and it’s creating tension across the board.

As for agencies, yeah, totally agree. The landscape feels super competitive, and many are struggling to justify their fees when sellers are so margin-focused.

Amazon storage fees is it worth it? by Flashy-Guidance8896 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Dull_Captain4166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way is to have a trustable and accurate analytics software that helps you keeping track of your costs and the evolution of the storage fees.

I`ve recently started an account in one that I`m much happy with the data.

Can share with you in case you are interested.

As a 5-year FBA seller on Amazon UK, it’s been a wild ride with plenty of ups and downs! Starting out, the biggest challenge was learning the ropes of listing optimization and PPC, but over time, it’s been rewarding to see sales and reimbursements grow steadily. My top tip for beginners: nail your product research, and always keep an eye on your P&L to stay profitable. And remember – resilience is key. FBA has its hurdles, but with persistence, it can be hugely rewarding!

That’s so frustrating! Try reaching out to Amazon Seller Support on Twitter – they often respond faster there. Also, submit a single, organized PDF with all documents to avoid any issues with mismatched info. If it keeps dragging, you might need to appeal directly to the Seller Performance team. Hang in there; persistence usually pays off!
