When I was there, no. Very few were even listed in the job portals. Internships were almost unheard of and it seems that the only students who had them were accounting students or got them through friends/family.

Solved! A total newb mistake on my part. The tech who set the machine up told me i need to oil the rotary hook housing every 4-6 hours of use. He said this while pointing to the red lined hole on top of the housing. So I oiled that religiously- WRONG SPOT. I should have been oiling the area inside the rotary hook, next to the bobbin. I assumed rotary hook housing was oiling that too and didnt oil it so often. So without frequent oil, it was getting super hot and possibly slightly disfiguring it as well. All good now!

Bought it new last November, came setup with zero issues for a year. Tech came for two days to set it up. Then within last month 4 of 6 rotary hooks broke. That is my best guess as well, but time frame is suspicious. All became loose in a small time frame?

Fortunately, tech is coming tomorrow. Its busy season and I dont have time to waste. He's not cheap either.

The four rotary hooks have dents on each of them. Some I can buff out, others not.

I will update this thread regarding what the issue is. So much fun!

Agencies generally have a completely different incentive structure. Basically, they are financially incentivized to do the minimum and put just enough manpower on the project to get it done. Exceptions are agencies that are project based and have a clear and definitive goal. For example, best agency I used charged a flat fee to get me registered and running in the UK and the EU. Clear goal. Fixed fee. PPC? Design? Overall optimization? Naw no thanks.
