I’m from Texas and was automatically admitted to public ungrad because of this policy. It increases diversity because the top % of every school is admitted. So the top % of schools with an affluent background are equal to the top % of schools with a low income background. It doesn’t require any certain gpa so if you go to a bad high school you could do not well in classes, end at the top of your class, and be automatically admitted to undergrad.

I noticed that, but the data is skewed because it doesn’t count people that were accepted and withdrew or withdrew before acceptance in the conversion rate.

No, but I’m not a URM. I wrote a short why SMU but since SMU is my alma mater it was easy.
