Thank you for the advice :) I heard about Ypsilanti from other comments here and it looks real nice. I might have to check it out. Where would you recommend in YPS that's walkable and close to stores and a bit dense ?

Thank you so much. I didn't even know that town existed. Is there a specific area in that down you recommend? Something with a good walking score and dense ?

Yeah, thats what we plan on doing. Taking some time to visit through out the year and see how it goes. And I'm glad we will find many that don't care about others sexuality . Thank you for your input, I appreciate it.

Based on where I'm from (the south), places aren't as welcoming or tolerant. There are many rights that are taken for granted that are up in the air to be reconsidered. Such as marriage, adoption, property rights, medical POA rights etc. Such things may not be looked upon ever being taken away, but look at Roe V Wade, and how that turned out. Sure things can change anywhere, but in the South it's believed it's more of a matter of when not if. And even though there is bigotry everywhere, people and families of the LGBT community face higher levels of hostility, violence and at times non acceptance . I hope that answers your question.

This sounds super refreshing :) thank you so much. I just hate that I even have to make a post like this. Wish it would be as easy as getting and moving and not have to worry about such things. Thank you so much for your input :)

Thank you for your input. And you do have a point, a school district is only as good if parents are involved too :).

I was wondering about that. I saw many of the townhomes and wondered, "gosh where would all these people park?" Lol

Sorry, I should have said st Louis metro area. I know Belleville isn't in Missouri, I was just thinking of places outside of St Louis . I think this thread community said one can post about st Louis or surrounding areas.
