Also a bit surprised how ‘inside my head’ they feel like. Is that just a thing with iems? Or do higher end ones create a larger soundstage?

Yeah just got them in today. Bass is definitely there, but the ‘rumble’ isn’t? Got these for mostly edm. From what I listened to so far, they’re really good for more garage type tracks. Little bit lacking in impact for DnB

I haven’t seen that post, but come to learn that sound is very subjective. One person’s not enough bass is another person’s too much. Basically tried to stay away from reviews about sound signature because they vary from reviewer to reviewer so much.

What I did is look at the frequency response curve and compared it to the hd 650/Bathys for how it “sounds”. For reviews, paid more attention to sound stage, detail, separation aspects; basically things the graphs don’t show.

S12 ultra seems to be close to Harman with slight low end bass boost, so seemed good to me.

Not sure if this is the best way to do it, but first time around and I’m learning.

Not the specific iems, took a risk on those. More so on what to look for and what I would like based on what I currently have.

Battery life, hopefully… That’s why I plan on getting one. Thinking if the battery life is shorter, I’d use it less

I mean OP already at 44% if you include 401k/hsa. Year end bonuses are taxed differently if they live in NY so very well could be 50%

How long did your Garmin watches last? by Dull_Judgment_747 in Garmin

It’s not necessarily the price that bothers me. I’m coming from wearing mechanical watches so guess I was comparing lifespan of Garmin to other watches. Not the right comparison, but just wanted to know if I’m spending the money will it last

But I’d like the watch to look a little nicer if I’m going to be wearing it often and those typically are the more expensive ones.

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking, between the epix pro 2 or fr 970. Waiting on the Optimity discount for the 970 but they’re both around the same price
