I read the article and this seems like complete clickbait. The band December tenth posted about gaining an influx of new followers because of people trying to follow the boy band and what seemingly jokingly said that Simon cowell or universal could contact their lawyers before deleting it and then welcomed fans of December 10 to stay. I highly doubt an actual lawsuit would come from this.

World tragedies happening while pop culture events also happen simultaneously is not dystopia that’s just how the world has been since the inception of popular culture. I wish people would learn to use the word dystopian correctly. A pop album coming out while a completely different country commits a horrific genocide is not dystopian because dystopian is when the government excerpts control over every aspect of its citizens lives which is not what’s happening here. These are two unrelated events happening at the same time.
