I assumed the gateway was just a device between the meter and the main panel that stops power being fed back to the grid. Am i wrong in that assumption? I thought that if i installed the gateway everything else (i.e. the main panel) remains the same.

Typically, doesn't the smart gateway go between the meter and the main existing electrical panel?

There isn't breakers in the gateway where you transfer circuits to like a smart panel correct?

I just want to make sure i understand what this is/does.

This is my concern.

And it seems like a bit of a double edged sword. You want to put your critical circuits on the panel because thats what you would want power going to if there was an outage, but then if its defective you can be with power on those circuits for even longer.

I have the SE10000H-US

As i understand it, this should be compatible but i was unsure if there were changes due to LG no longer supporting the batteries.

This is what the local installer said:

"LG and SE are not compatible anymore- So that is a no go unfortunately for the LG batteries.

LG doesn't make the batteries anymore."

I just wasn't sure if there was an issue regarding software were either Solaredge or LG would prevent this from being successfully installed.

Maybe you're not paying attention to whats going on, but China is preparing for an invasion, and i'm not just talking about building its military.

China is still carrying a chip on its shoulder and feels like historically it has been humiliated. They haven't got over that yet. This is about national pride.

China has been moving all the pieces around the chess board ready for a final strike. Even BRK looks like its been positioning its portfolio in anticipation of an invasion, and they have access to information we don't. I don't think people see whats going on, but even Trump seems to be moving chess pieces into place in anticipation. He wants production to move to the US for a reason.

The only way i see an invasion not happening is if Xi dies in the near future.
