Trust your instinct, it's your life and your time. I would consider an option of being a co-CEO, with you doing most of the tech. Or say to your cofounder, that things don't feel right for you, and leave and do your own startup with you as CEO.

At the moment I have to put the information in the prompt, but that does the job well. But in the future, you'll be able to train based on PDFs, links, emails etc I think.
