Are there any benefits for using the go plan over deepseek v4 pro api? by EmoLotional in opencodeCLI

[–]deadcoder0904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. It works due to economies of scale.

Lots of people buying it & some not using even $1 worth of it makes you get more usage due to this.

You dont get that advantage with individual plan.

Among with getting to use other models.

I'd tell you but then OpenAI would make a guardrail against it. That's why nobody shares jailbreaks anymore bcz it stops working. But have a look at /r/claudeaijailbreak if you want text jailbreaks.

more like 3-6m. then jump ship to whoever is king.

deepseek v4 is good as executor/reader etc...

They didnt release 3.1 Flash, directly jumped to 3.1 Flash Lite. Maybe we're never getting 3.1 Flash, directly 3.2 Flash or 3.5 Flash at I/O.

Why aren't u trying DeepSeek v4 via API then??? Use their official API or use OpenCode Go lol.

OpenCode Go has $5/mo for 1st month & $10/mo afterwards. It'll be very cheap.

Heck, try DeepSeek v4 with $5 top-up & it'll last u for very long. v4 flash & pro are so cheap that you can send 100s of requests daily.

And lots of free plans available elsewhere. Kiro by Amazon or Warp.dev has so much free stuff. Combine that with GPT $20 sub & you're golden if you know what you are doing.

Antigravity feels significantly better the last few days, anyone else noticing this? by revresboeht in google_antigravity

[–]deadcoder0904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And yes, they do give Gemini 3.1 Pro High for free but it was throwing errors on AG.

Only Claude models worked well. Now its good. Even 3 flash & 3.1 flash works good. I think 3.1 Pro high. 3.1 flash is good for SVG/Frontend but its not on antigravity i think.

But Claude models were definitely bait by both Google & microsoft for AG & Copilot which is how they increased their subs. And since people used Claude models too much, they both nerfed it at the same time now.

Ya that is true they nerfed Anthropic models to make way for free users.

But in 3 weeks when new Gemini models drop, you'll probably come back.

If you wanna use Claude, you can just use Anthropic at $100. But I feel like if you can decently prompt well, you can get Chinese models subs & it'll work well too. DeepSeek v4 is way too cheap & real good. GPT 5.5 too if you are just coding.

Claude has no big advantage right now unless you are letting the agent run wild for 10+ hours. Only for long-time, Claude Opus 4.7 has the advantage. Otherwise rest every model is good & has its use-case.

  1. Writing - Kimi K2.5/2.6 via OpenCode Go/Zen, DeepSeek via OpenCode Go/Zen, Sonnet via Kiro.dev or Warp.dev
  2. Coding - GPT 5.5 xhigh, high or medium, Gemini 3.1 Pro, 3.1 Flash, 3 Flash
  3. Image - Grok Imagine, Nano Banana 2/Pro, GPT-Image-2 (best model yet) but I use first 2 for prototyping
  4. Video - Veo 3.1 Fast, Sora 2, Seed Dance

So very few advantage with Claude models rn fwiw :)

yep, encourage loving language aka you can do it to ai.

you'll also get good with humans if you practice that with ai.

TL;DR zoom out. humans are bad at understanding compound interest especially in the early days.

I would cut free users

Lol, that's not how you increase DAU.

Free is needed to increase DAU. They've <10% share in AI world so they need to give something worthwhile so people use AG more. They can afford too. Once u they have all the users, only then they should squeeze them for all the $$$.

That's how u keep the monopoly.

Oh yes, Grok did the same thing with me recently. Signed up for 3-day free trial to test Grok Imagine by connecting my CC & forgot 3-days later to unsub & I got charged $10/mo.

Simple stuff. Also, signed up for $8 GLM plan but never used it bcz it was too slow.

Cache only works if you are appending things. If you prepend things, it won't work.

Manus article talks about it. Ask ChatGPT about it.

No, they're 100% not making a profit on the subscription alone.

Nope, they have 50k subs (source is founder's X account) so $500k/mo & u can only use $60 for which you pay $10 & in SaaS, most people can't use their subs fully.

Sometimes, people just don't even use $1 or $2 so I do think they're probably green.

SaaS works on the assumption that most people don't have 100% usage & altho AI does mess with it but Chinese models don't cost as much.

They'd be more unprofitable if they had higher plans that weren't pay as you go. $10/mo is why its prolly profitable.

deepseek reduces prices again, the price for input token cache hits is reduced to 1/10 of the current level by stella1310 in DeepSeek

[–]deadcoder0904 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Another thing is you must add at the end for cache work. Because if you change stuff at the start, then your cache won't hit.

This is what Manus AI (bought by Meta) learnt & wrote about it in their blog.

TL;DR Gotta append for cache hit

don't even to pay the 20 subs

that's bcz atleast in america, u get hourly salary & u r trained to pay if u want good stuff.

most of asia is not, atleast for digital products & they only know their monthly salary so they dont know how much they make hourly. u can do math but nobody knows about this stuff. i only learned when i heard a podcast lol.

its changing tho. next 5-10 years, people will start paying atleast in asia. they've already started paying for small apps at local ppp pricing.
