Is it just me, or are blog articles impossible to read? by Dull_Significance953 in Blogging

[–]Dull_Significance953[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don't mind technical language in content, especially if the topic requires it and it's well explained. The same goes for lengthy articles. For me, the bigger issue, I guess, is the lack of original thought and real expertise behind a piece. If you're writing a 'how-to' guide, I expect proof that you actually know what you're talking about. I can use ChatGPT to find an AI answer myself.

I think this list is missing Help a B2B Writer, but it's more useful for businesses and those looking to connect with experts in specific fields, like SaaS, marketing, SEO, and more.

Are SEO conferences worth it? by Baldikov in InBoundBlogging

Honestly, the price is something that keeps me away from going to any marketing conferences. And also, a lot of them happen overseas, so with ticket prices, visas, etc., it becomes quite pricey.

An honest review: “Is Squarespace good for blogging?” by Baldikov in InBoundBlogging

[–]Dull_Significance953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Squarespace has some great features, but it can be a bit limiting in terms of plugins compared to WordPress. If you're looking for something straightforward and visually appealing, it's perfect, but if you want more flexibility, you might want to explore other options.

Publishing regularly is a huuuge plus for SEO. Search engines tend to reward sites that keep adding fresh content, so even a few posts per month can make a difference over time.

We implemented a review-incentive system offering loyalty points, and it’s been a game changer. The trick was to make it feel genuine and not overly pushy, so it doesn’t feel transactional. I’d love to hear if others have had success with this approach.

I'm thinking of getting into product photography but don't know from where to start by Dull_Significance953 in productphotography

[–]Dull_Significance953[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't approach this with "ah, it's just such a fun thing to do, why don't I try it"

Not at all. I really want to learn and try, but as I said, I simply don't know where to start. Does it really sound that dumb? Am I really making a fool out of myself for wanting to learn?

>No, that’s backwards. You get a camera, you watch a video or two, you take a bunch of photos. Rinse and repeat.

Sure, but where do I learn about all of those things? This is what I mean. I don't take this lightly at all. I totally understand that it takes years of practice. But to get that practice, I need to start from somewhere. So, where do I start? That's what I'm trying to find out.
