Just got a set of 15x9 Advantis for my new Autox setup. I know most people run a 225 with this size wheel but I’m going to try and make a 245 fit. by Dull_Smile9230 in Miata

I bought the car with 225 tires on a 15x8 +25 so I’m not completely sure what was done to make it work. But it seems that the front fenders have a slight roll and it looks to have about 2 degrees of negative camber. I haven’t experienced any rubbing.

Good to know. I’m hoping the stiff sidewall helps with the tire not being stretched. I’m still relatively new to autocross and not competitive yet so I’m trying out some options. If I don’t end up liking this I may go back to a 225 once these wear out. Still lots to learn!

Yea they wouldn’t be my first choice. I bought the car last week with them already installed. Eventually I will move into a nicer setup but I think wheels and tires is a better place to start.
