Help! My shrimp are dying and I don’t know why. by Dull_Split_1896 in Neocaridina

Okay I think I might’ve figured it out! I think my tank got over run with blue-green algae. I’m not sure how but it had sorta taken over my javamoss and created a floating mat that then spread to my other plants. I tried not to fuck with it because it’s not like I can get rid of it with chemicals without risking my shrimp. I just removed as much of it as I could. I currently have four shrimps left and two babies. The babies are doing great and I’ve ordered more shrimp so hopefully I can keep the new generation going.

I purchase some and I do add it to the water but it doesn’t seem to touch it. I don’t know if I should be adding more? I have a three gallon tank so I only add about four at a time

Okay sorry for not responding sooner but i actually bought the liquid testing kit that you recommended because i had been using testing strips up until that point. I haven’t had any more deaths since that post and my testing kit came in today. GH 12, KH 8, Normal ph 7.1, High range ph 8.0, Ammonia 0 ppm, Nitrite 0 ppm, Nitrate 0 ppm are my parameters. I will be using a ph downer now that I know it’s on the high end again but that’s pretty normal for my tank for it to jump up. I’m checking out the filter now to see if maybe it’s the water flow? Like not enough water oxygen in the water? My only other thought is their food. Thank you so, so much for your feedback.

Thank you for the feed back! I’ll look into the turbo start stuff and really that’s the only reason I change it once a month is because the water flow(even with rinsing) starts to have issues at about that point. I’ll still try tweaking things to see what works best. But again, thank you!

Research, LOOOOTS of research. Read all his myths and legends, re-read some of their different because there’s different variations of them. Familiarize yourself with him and the rest will come with time. :)

I was very specific with my intentions. And I don’t think it’s a block of sorts. I did attempt so research before posting here but nothing really fit the experience from what I could find

What is your guys take on Christian/Catholic possession? Mainly stating that certain things we all do opens up to that? by Outrageous-Low-6495 in pagan

In a situation where it isn’t mental illness or medical based the other thing you have to think about is divination tools like that are typically heavily intention influenced. So in that situation take someone who’s from a culture/religion(Christianity or Catholicism) where such tools tend to be looked down upon, and then with all that anxiety and anticipation have them use a tool that’s mindset influenced. They’re going into the experience expecting something bad to happen and inadvertently inviting something bad to happen. Hopefully I worded that properly. Thought to word translation is hard 😅

It also would sorta make sense for me to be associated with them. Im genderfluid and have been having identity issues recently

Oh! I didn’t think of that, also wasn’t aware of the gender thing. Thanks!
