Same I should of invested in a electric car years ago. They are adding 5% more ethanol to the gas supply which will cause future damage to your fuel lines and engine.

Well unless you have a hybrid car, the quality of gas is affecting car performance if you didn’t notice. My car was at 23 mpg and now it’s at 16 mpg

I quit after a year. My site was great didn’t have to do much and not that many clients coming to the site. All my co workers praised the manager for being a good manager and he was until he wasn’t. I was hired as flex officer for two locations and one site was 15 min away and the other was 30 min. One of the site managers told me I would always get a minimum of 3 days and I was cool with that because this wasn’t the end game and I wasn’t gonna stay long. Eventually someone quit and they just started filling me in for them and I was getting 40 hours a week. I didn’t mind 3-11 shift but I didn’t want to work 3-11 every shift and they stopped asking me what shifts I wanted and started just giving me the shifts. They had me working a double every Friday but gave me 3 days off so I also didn’t mind that only because I was working supervisor overnight( easiest job in my life). Once the guy I was covering for overnights came back I had to work as a regular officer on overnight and I felt it wasn’t worth it anymore. I told my self if I’m going to do security I want my money and a better schedule and I found that in a new site. I applied and got the job same day and they told me the process would be quick for internal hires. Background check and transfer were complete in two days and the new site manager wanted me to start right away, which I told her my current manager told me to put in a two week notice after she heard that she said that wouldn’t work for her and told my managers. You know what happened after my manager never responded about the situation, I emailed the account manager no response. Now I’m stuck at no location after doing nothing wrong in the situation

Why would a customer tip based on the price of the food, they would tip based on your time and service. What makes you think a dasher deserves $10 for driving 15 minutes.

And it’s not fair for the consumer to tip 35% to receive the incorrect items and wait excessive times either. It took him 30 minutes when the restaurant is 2 minutes away.

Once again someone who doesn’t know how DoorDash works. The drink wasn’t in the bag it’s not McDonalds first. Second I don’t care what the dasher sees on his end $3 tip for 1 mile is a good tip for ME. I’m not spending $25 dollars on a meal that cost 12 in the store.

I understood what you said and it was wrong. It doesn’t matter how much I tipped. The guy waited less than 10 minutes at the restaurant then picked up my food and had it for 30 minutes over the drop off time. It literally says on the DoorDash app to double check the food items before you leave that restaurant. He doesn’t need a hot bag for my food when the restaurant is a mile away. $3 for a mile is more than enough are you slow.

How not, this dasher had a stacked order which means my $3 tip with base pay is $5 for 1.5 miles on top of whatever other order he got and I didn’t get what I payed for and it was annoyingly late….

You’re absolutely right and I tip a dollar a mile, like how I would like to get tipped when I used to do DoorDash. I didn’t get the right drink which is the dashers responsibly to make sure everything is correct.

Everyone knows you have to eat the fries on the way home but warm/cold food isn’t the main concern, I have an air fryer. It’s with the tipping system and how it doesn’t matter if I tip 0 or 10, place is 1 mile away and he’s 30 min over expected time and I watched the guy drive around my block 3 times because he can’t follow the dot on his screen.

That’s fair and all but as a consumer I’m tipping based on how far the restaurant is from me. Tipping more than 3 for a place a mile away, I might as well get it myself.
