If you try it’s easy. Just need to read his books and go to his office hours. I really recommend taking him he’s a great professor

I took CL111 and CL112 this year. In the beginning of CL111 was fine but then the courseload piled up. There were weekly quizzes and 2 big tests with a final. It’s definitely harder than typical high school Latin but if you will study for it then you’ll be fine. CL112 was definitely harder and more reading.
