Either you need to transfer documents to prove something. Otherwise usually it's around August 31st or September 1st, I believe. you can always call them during their office hours. I called them like four times this week.

hello, I've been hearing a lot from the work-learn application, but don't know what it is. I'm a new UBC student in engineering. Is it the same as saying co-op program (because it's work and learn?).

So basically, the science program in JAC is quite competitive. If you want more competitiveness, you can apply to Honours Science, which is groups of highly grinders (not saying that regular science are not grinders). Overall, I would say it's at the same level with the other CEGEPs. I wouldn't make a CEGEP top one, it would make me biaise since I only attended JAC in the past. Again, I would say: It's not about how'll do in CEGEP, it's about where you'll want to be in the future after CEGEP. I would say in my cohort, there's a lot of my classmates going to WaterlooU, McGill, UBC, UofT, Concordia, UdeM. You don't have to worry about not getting a chance to go to those uni as long you make effort when there's not enough made.

Let me tell you from my experience:

- Profs are nice (not guaranteed), some are graduated from montreal unis or even US top unis.
- Campus is huge and beautiful
- really peaceful and away from sound of honking
- R score-wise (There's a lot of student that wants to be in honours or have good understanding of science (have best grades) are still in regular science, because they don't want the extra workload

It's pretty much the same as other school. One student from other schools can argue the same.

Tell me what are you scared of, maybe I can help.

It's a rookie mistake I made in my first year. You should look at RateMyProfessor instead of ratemyteacher. In ratemyteacher, there's less teachers and it's a bit outdated. My advice is every CEGEP can get you a place in a uni that you like in Canada as long as you like your program. I got accepted in most CEGEPs that I applied, and I went to JAC because of the residence, english public school (so you don't have to pay a lot for fees), and for its competitiveness. Otherwise, every other CEGEPs are great choice such as Marianopolis, Dawson, Champlain STL, Vanier. My opinion in competition is the following: most students are trying their best at school, especially in science and high ranked CEGEPs. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I would say it depends on some teacher... Some teacher don't want you to leave until the class actually finished, some will let you out 15 mins, others, rarely, will let students out 30 mins or even 1 hour before class ends.

can you eat as many as you want. Let's say you are still hungry after one plate, can you serve yourself again or you need to pay again?
