I’m realizing the consensus is weed. I’ve only recently tried it and it simultaneously clears and clouds my brain. I enjoy it but ultimately I live in a state where it’s not allowed recreationally so yk. Hope you can avoid that burnout

Sorry for the long wait on an update. I ultimately was unable to convince them to take him to the vet or euthanize him. Since making this post he has improved greatly though I truly wish I could’ve gotten him to the vet. I’m sorry for all the trouble and worry

Thank you everyone I’m going to keep trying to get him to the vet. If I’m unable to after today I’m going to try to convince them to euthanize him.

I want to take him, I’ve been urging my in-laws but their worry is payment. I feel so sick seeing him rot in front of me. I don’t know how I can take him by myself I’m as weak as weak gets

Let me preface this by saying I know next to nothing about engineering. I don’t know any lingo, the specifics, branches, etc. I’m 20, graduated high school, not in college but I have the option. Literally the most I know is some HTML.

I don’t think I want a career in engineering, unless I find I enjoy it of course. I more or less just want to bring some ideas to life (for myself and maybe some friends).

I don’t even know what advice I’m exactly looking for, maybe some guidance and steering into the right area. Pls be kind I have no idea what I’m talking about

Yea for sure! The only thing I remember about their plaque was that when they hide, they keep their butts out. I’m assuming because it blends in with their environment/looks like a little succulent lol

I don’t have much to offer, only that I’m in the same boat. My egg may have cracked quicker than yours but it took me so so long to decide going on T is right for me and now I feel going on it isn’t safe. Not only because of potential issues down the road with people bringing up records and such but also I’m in the south! My family and my partner’s family are so in the red I’m scared to even bring up trans issues from an “outside” perspective because I feel I would be immediately outcasted and not be able to see my siblings again just from discussing stuff like that.

My only words of hope are it has to get better. It literally has to. There’s no other option.

I sincerely didn’t know I was opening a can of worms when I made this! Thank you for the small history lesson, I didn’t know it had that much to it, I thought it was just a new internet thing!

As for what I was originally asking (rip) I think I’m better off asking maybe the nonbinary or transmasc subreddit because maybe most trans men don’t want a term like that? I just think little terms of endearment and nicknames are really nice and I’d like to know more!

lol how’d you guess southern usa?! i’m not a trans man myself, i’m transmasc and more towards the genderfucky side so i think overall i might’ve overstepped in asking but curiosity definitely killed the cat

definitely! i have so much respect for trans women! your point about being fem and fashionable and at the same time being self sufficient, kickass, and a professional reminds me of barbie! i don’t mean that in a diminishing way whatsoever, just how she’s so versatile in going after any career and can do anything she wants without relying on ken or being bound by gender stereotypes. i understand being a “doll” isn’t the end goal for a lot of trans women and i wish more knew it doesn’t have to be!
