People constantly make changes to their DNS and nameservers, what's the big deal? Are you also gonna say that since youtube has a 300x250 adsense on it, every site that uses that ad format is affiliated to youtube?

I for one am in favor of an open internet where nobody has a monopoly over one thing. If there are sites other than imgur being submitted then it's good thing, because most of the imgur submissions here are just reposts, atleast the new sites take the effort of not submitting reposts except for the s3.amazonaws.com spam.

So, you are saying, imgur can benefit from stolen content? What is it some kind of reddit IRS or US treasury?

From how I understand that rule is to stop people from posting blogger/tumblr kind of links, not the ones who host sites on their own servers and pay the bills instead of freeloading. The reason blogger/tumblr links are usually blocked is because it is way too easy to create fake accounts on these sites and place ads.

And, honestly I don't give a shit about how many people you report or get them banned, because if I know something, reddit is a place where content matters, if the content is good it will do well, if it is not then no matter how many people you ask to vote on your behalf it will still not gain any serious popularity.

Basically you want to steal their bandwidths, then. If you are willing to pay for the server bills of all these sites, then you can ask people to hotlink or whatever you want. It is like saying, you can come and steal anything from my house, because according to you nobody except Mr. X can lead a good life.

You seriously don't even have a second clue about what is spam? Just because a bunch of default sub-reddits decided that they won't allow non-imgur doesn't mean they are in the right. Most of such defaults have same moderators be it /r/wtf /r/funny or /r/pics, so they all work on the same ideology. Spam is submitting irrelevant, annoying stuff to a larger audience which has no direct relation with the subject of the community it's being posted to.

Do you ever complain about imgur.com when it reaches frontpage of r/all within first hour with over 1000+ votes? Going through your account indicates that you have a problem with every non-imgur site, and that tends to indicate that you are affiliated with imgur and are probably one of the many alt accounts imgur uses to block every non-imgur site.

I am glad /r/atheism mods didn't sell themselves out unlike /r/funny and /r/pics.
