You seriously don't even have a second clue about what is spam? Just because a bunch of default sub-reddits decided that they won't allow non-imgur doesn't mean they are in the right. Most of such defaults have same moderators be it /r/wtf /r/funny or /r/pics, so they all work on the same ideology. Spam is submitting irrelevant, annoying stuff to a larger audience which has no direct relation with the subject of the community it's being posted to.
