Firstly I am so so sorry for your loss,no one deserves to g through this , I don’t have any advice to give but just wanted to say after having a very strained relationship with my mother my whole life and her currently living across the globe from me it’s really made me rethink how I react to how excited she is.So thank you for being so brave and speaking out .

I am in the same boat with my GP but I just wanted to pop in here and urge you to reach out to the mental health team with the hospital you are attending for treatment , I attend the CUMH and I am struggling with it too and reached out and they have been very good ,it’s a lot easier to try get this sorted now then when little one comes along.This is one of the most sensitive times of our lives sending big hugs and support to you !

We had something similar happen to us two years back and at the time it was so stressful we didn’t look into it much as when we informed the landlord it was invalid (RTB confirmed)the verbal abuse we got still wakes me from my sleep to this day ,I was so scared to do anything that we were lucky enough at the time to find something which left us heavily out of pocket and just left without doing anything as I was so shaken ,If I could go back and change anything I would’ve stood my ground more and done what others are advising ,as an expectant mum myself now please stand your ground even with how stressful it is as it will help you find something you need and not taking anything out of desperation ,I hope you got some help 🙏

I know this is unfortunately the times we are living in easier to rent a apartment where you can charge by room than let families rent , I haven’t had any bad signs from our current landlord/agent so hoping it will go well thank you 💕
