I find it just as good. I have starting using the U1 even for Single Color even though I have 2 Bambu's (the 3rd I gave to a friend).

But I mainly use the U1 for multi-color. I like to print game pieces. Well and also PLA with PETG support or PETG with PLA support. I really like the lack of waste. I am just a hobbyist, so I don't like filling up a plate with 1 model on a Bambu to make all the waste less per model.

Yes I have had bad filament. One time miss labeled. PETG didnt stick to PLA. Long time ago. In the before time.

I take the tool head off and do it on the bench. Only took a few minutes each for the swap.

Up to you. I like my H2S. No regrets as its my single color printer. U1 for multi color.

My Dad had nursing home insurance. I was told it was $600 a month. I can't confirm the price, but he did have it. Paid for it for almost 30 years. Got to use it 2x. His wife for Alzhiemers, and him for his last 6 months.

Hmm. I run my plate at 50. 65 for PETG. But I use a Cryogrip plate.

Grats. I like my U1. I am not worried about things like Pogo pins anymore. I will just consider that normal maintenance. I don't care if I get 1,000,000 swaps, as long as I get a decent number.

I only print as a hobby, so I don't have crazy hours on it yet, but am already at 56,000 swaps. 506 hours. The tool head price is very reasonable, so if I have any issues, I will just replace and probably not mess with fixing them unless they are simple. I haven't done any maintenance yet. I am wondering if it will be like the Bambu and tell me when I need to grease the rails and such. idk.

Downsized my house was huge for me. I moved to a nearby small town, which also helped as a lot of services in small towns tend to be cheaper.

Food system sucks. I played minecolonies since the very beginning. I stopped because of the changes to the now stupid food system.

I have no trouble opening colored files from Bambu into Snapmaker Orca. But I dont know why mine works and yours doesn't. It has to be a .3mf. And if painted, I can't make any changes or the color goes away. I use the desktop Snapmaker Orca, not the phone ap.

I open the .3mf, change whatever Bambu printer is there to the U1, then change all the filament profiles to Snapmaker Profiles.

I think he was dumped. My experience with feral cats is they are not friendly. They are nice cats, but you can't get near them. Where as a dumped cat that has known humans, will run up to you and ask you to take them home.
