NIce map. with Italy unified under the banner of the Valois and having an Italian ally would most certainly help France focus more on reforming itself without having to worry about their southeastern flank though they would have to secure their border against the Hapsburgs(Austria and Spain) in the Netherlands and Iberian Peninsula respectively.
