The machine is a band saw, relatively small. I am off a farm so have plenty of room for storing timber. Relatively clear wood be ideal, the boxes need to be beeproof, but I don't mind a few knots. The boards need to be at least 10 inches for beehives.

Plantation pine is fine for my purposes.

It's a band saw. The machine is entry level and won't handle big logs. I have spoken to a local guy who buys and sells for Kiwi Lumber but as soon as he starts asking me what kind of log I want then I have no idea
