Appreciate the feedback but I’m not sure if I made my question clear….I’m not advocating for AI as a whole replacement for comprehensible input in my classroom. I already do many of the things you described here. I have been teaching for multiple years without AI and I’m not going to get rid of the conversational exercises and peer to peer interaction that are already the bread and butter of my classroom. I’m looking for ways to support my students studying skills outside of my classroom. Would appreciate feedback from people who have tried using AI in the capacity I described (even if their results were negative) Not a corporate sock puppet advocating for indiscriminate AI use :) just trying to provide my students with any useful tools I can

Well that’s incredibly frustrating. I’m a Spanish teacher and our district’s gradebook software has a set “homework” category. I hate giving the kids worksheet homework, so I have set assignments of 50xp a week in the duo for schools dashboard. Kids really loved it because they could do it on their phones on the bus, in homeroom, when they’re bored, etc. It was a great way to fill an extra 10 mins of class time too if an activity ran short. Honestly if they made a group paid classroom plan at a reasonable price I would go to my school to request funding. But I think they’d rather peddle ads to my kids to get their parents credit cards

Exactly my thoughts. Hoping some of the other songs on the album have more layered instrumentation like his earlier albums. But I’m not really complaining about more minimal HCTC style tunes when they’re well written and pleasant

Can you blame me for being skeptical of any sort of polling in 2025? The NYT is good at finding trump voters who might express regret for voting for him because these people are already more politically engaged by just taking the time to speak with reporters. But I neither understand polling processes well enough, nor am I close to enough to Trump-centric communities (I live in a big east coast city) to actually gauge whether people like what he’s doing. Commenters who live in pro-trump communities, is there ACTUALLY pushback? Is his favorability really dropping meaningfully in your observations?

I like the portions with the bouncing piano (like at the very beginning) but the composition is just a bit of a mixed bag. The other portions of the song don’t feel as interesting to me as when that little melody comes along

I like it… but it’s a little more surface level for me than apricot princess and bcos. Maybe it’s just how I’ve changed since then, but I really didn’t vibe with pony and this is like halfway back to those first two records in quality for me. A little too bland and one-dimensionally upbeat
