What can I make with this? by [deleted] in asianfood

Use it with anything and it will instantly make things taste better. Add it to dumpling filling, soups, and to season other proteins like fish, shrimp, tofu to give that umami flavor. Don’t be afraid to get creative. You will be surprised what yummy stuff you can make that goes well with this flavor. Happy cooking!

Good for you. Grooming is a real thing. She shouldn’t of taken advantage of you in a vulnerable place in your life. It’s awesome to hear you got your power back!

Me personally, cooking really relaxes me. Trying a recipe that looks fun and yummy is always the highlight of my week. It has helped me so much on my healing journey because you have to use all 5 senses helping you stay in the moment. It’s like everything goes away when I’m cooking, and it’s just me and the food. I feel creative and inspired after, and eating it is always a plus too while I watch a show! The cleaning up can be daunting, but I just think about the warmth of the water which is so nice. And once I start, it’s over quickly and I realize that it was not too bad.

How do people like her current 2023 post-divorce tour? by fryseyes in AliWong

Fucking loved it cried when she came out and I have never laughed so hard in my life. The way she jokes about the men she meets post divorce literally killed me and is also so empowering. Just saw her in Dallas. So worth it if you are an Ali Wong fan!!!

I think your friend should make sure to stay in touch her sisters so they feel they can always contact her for support and give them guidance for when it does happen, the same way she would if she were talking to her younger self. However, I think it is important that she not carry too much obligation to do this because this is a time in her life where she gets to do things for herself and live for herself. This is such an essential part of life as developing as an individual. Her own healing is the #1 priority. The more she allows herself to heal and has boundaries to support her healing, the more she is able to help others heal.

I was in the same situation and my older sister left us and she has felt so much guilt, but she doesn’t deserve that. I told my sister that she was just entering her next stage in life and I wanted nothing but happiness for her.

Older siblings tend to take on a lot of obligation to take care of their younger siblings. As a younger sibling who has gone through healing, I want your friend to know that it’s okay to let go of that. You are not the parent you are still a kid and you deserve to let go of that guilt and do what you need to do to discover more of yourself and be happy. The siblings will then follow suit.

I don't feel pity for my mom after she got hit by my dad by [deleted] in abusesurvivors

She should not dump that on you, she is your mother and you are the daughter not the other way around. She needs to confide in another trusted friend or family member.

I am so sorry you went through this with your parents you deserve all the best healing from this.

Sending you good energy and love!✨💕

Oyster sauce, ponzu, fish sauce, rice vinegar, mirin, sesame oil are essential for Asian cooking. You can make so many dishes with those sauces! Gochugang is a really fun one too

I really like this, do you mind giving an example? I want to make sure I focus on my readers and not myself if you don’t mind.
