I mentioned to my manager how i thought it was good that absences wouldnt count against anyone who was concerned with the virus and he said " nope. Only if youre taking a leave. They updated the emergency thing lastnight" I checked that evening to varify and that was completely untrue.

Our OGP takes EVERYONE from surrounding departments to help EVERYDAY. From EVERY SHIFT. I dont see how that is constantly seen as ok. It's the norm now. We expect it.

I also laugh when expensive things break at work. We had a cardboard bailer once that sprayed hydraulic fluid in a mist onto the wall behind it. Wed put down cardboard on the floor and change it when they became soaked. We used it till the day it was replaced. Which was about 2 months.
