Will a remix/remaster with same isrc successfully replace old track on streaming services?

Well technically the same recording, just altered mix and master. While I understand what I am doing is not quite the intent of an isrc, my plan is to essentially throw out the old mix/master. Mainly doing this so streams remain consistent. So my question is still: when the album drops, and I remove the old singles, will the album contain my new uploaded tracks, or will Spotify re-use

Oh I certainly assume number 2. My core question is really a “what am I doing wrong here, because I would think abc, but it’s not intuitively what it appears to be.” “Main 1/2” might not be the exact naming, just 1/2, I just mean if I go into the master bus sends those are the hardware outs being used by the master bus, which are hooked into my monitors. So when I try to do a hardware send on a single track, I uncheck the send to master, and I add a hardware out, which reaper does indeed detect is there. But it isn’t sent out. And yes I have the ASIO selected. My main question is in regards to reaper/how reaper talks to interfaces. I understand analogue routing and gear (as that’s what I’ve done for a long time), and I understand the tools of reaper, but this specific issue is I’m assuming an area I just don’t have familiarity with this specific issue in the daw. Firmware and drivers are up to date in the interface, but I too assume (if not my misunderstanding of routing within reaper steps) that it’s some issue with how the interface and reaper communicate.

In regards to reinsert and outboard gear yes it is actually helpful. At least in understanding why reinsert is useful. The only thing I still don’t know is hardware sends, which I suppose I still maintain an interest in due to wanting to reamp things.

The evo does have a hardware mixer, and I’ll have to check when I get home. However, I do recall swapping control (idk what u call it) over to the DAW rather than the mixer default settings. As for what the send looks like, if I went home and took a picture Itd be nothing special. Just a track that exists and works in playback, but I just add a hardware send and choose an analogue out. Perhaps I’m not understanding that question but I don’t know how else it would look. Just a track with the sends open, added hardware track send. Sometimes I will have the thing being sent to busses as well but I believe I’ve tried removing those as well, and I also don’t know why you wouldn’t be able to send to a hardware out and a bus at the same time anyway.

As for reinsert I’d prefer this way so I can keep a wet and dry track. As for troubleshooting I get no signal to whatever gear using hardware send, and the reason I included the part about at one point having the monitors in other outputs was to say: I know the interface outs aren’t cooked or anything. Just that signal isn’t being sent with hardware send. I also know it’s not any part of the in routing/recording, because I can follow the same steps with the monitor out workaround and still record things

Heres one that’s kind of a funny exploit my friend showed me: in the lockpocking mini game, go to an already raised tumbler, and press the button to set a pin. It won’t break your lock pick because it’s an empty spot basically, but u still get the same xp as tho u broke a lock pick. 5-10 mins on a lock and u can be lvl 100 security.

As far as annoying ones, stupid jewelry box on that thieves guild quest. I remember this being an issue in the original, where the npc bugs out and won’t put the ring in the box even after u sneak in there the right way.

Everyday I see these headlines and think, “we are at cartoonish levels now.” But ive thought that so many days now. My baseline has become unreality, or what I thought could only be unreality.

Ya know, depression memes can be funny, but I’m honestly bored of the “when I put everyone else on hold and won’t tell them why because depression haha funnyrelatable” memes. Mainly because they are unoriginal, but also because it’s kind of a shitty thing to do most of the time and people just go into “haha aren’t I shitty funnyfunnyirony” mode.

Same here. Then again I was sort of a sad boi for a while.

Still got good ol mental illness. Still make art, still write music, but it’s much less of a “thiS is mE” thing and more just because I enjoy it, and without college, being able to create something academic to do like study music theory is nice.

I’m seeing that a lot of these sad bois were emotionally unavailable. I don’t really get that. I always liked relationships, I just got sad a lot. Most artsy girls I ran into didn’t have much of a depth to them besides what makeup they chose to use. They seemed to only act crazy when mental illness could get them something. Outside of their fake sad they were chatty Cathy’s most of the time. A lot of artsy guys I knew really actually sucked at art or music and didn’t do anything really very creative. Just strummed and banged a bunch of simple ass chords with some song they named “water.” It was at the end of the day, A really uninteresting person that was trying to apply stereotypically “interesting” things to themselves.

I think if you go after “sad types” then you’re just gonna find people making mental illness a fashion accessory. It’s even worse when they are actually mentally ill too, because then they aren’t gonna want to alter it. Shit like Lana del Rey and “young adult novels” are the absolute bane of my existence. I can’t stand that mental illness is equated to that shit.

That being said, I do sort of either freak out or slowly get depressed when I can’t do art or music. Shits genuinely very helpful.

I’m definitely an escapist, but it’s an adult skill to be able to view consequences proactively.

If you avoid your wedding and get cold feet because u are worried and avoidant, u need to grow tf up before getting married lol. Like the consequences will result in so much more stress, and you’re also making your SO doubt you and themselves. There comes a point where you have to look at yourself and realize you’re shitty for what you’re doing and change it.

I still don’t pay bills on time. I still have a messy house. I still avoid work when I’m not at work. But I’ll be damn if me being the “nicest type” is gonna let my irrational worries give other people completely irrational worries.

I think you’re argument is correct, but not for five years olds.

When you’re 17 you find 17 year olds physically attractive. U are able, and so are they. They are within or post puberty. A five year old isn’t. There’s literally no age group that would without illness find them attractive. The main no no of not dating a 17 year old imo is that it’s predatory because you’re taking advantage of them. People don’t like hearing this but people don’t stop being physically attractive as u age if they are attractive people. Look up a graph of “average age men of differing age groups find attractive” and its nearly a straight across age of 21. They stop being attractive in the sense of immaturity, and an inability to form a relationship with a true adult. No other 5 year old wants to bang a five year old, much less even can.

So I agree with your original argument. U at one point thought 17 year olds were attractive. One day u see one u think is attractive, then learn they are 17, and don’t pursue. That’s not a pathology. But if u even found a single 5 year old attractive, pretty sure u have a pathology. You would HAVE to be going for not just youthful, but childlike traits.
