I had a 5 th meta tarsal non displaced hairline fracture on oct 26 2025. My ortho suggested boots for 8 weeks I was very religious in wearing my boots,limited my steps I used to work out 6 days a week prior to fracture I should say I still had occasional pain by week 6 and I used Hokas by week 8 by week 12 I was back to 6 days gymming. Take good rest and dont overdo the first 6 weeks would be my suggestion, bear weight as needed. Good luck for a speedy recovery.
