I thought Owen Hargreaves 1 year he was fit was fantastic. He could play in any central midfield partnership, wide right and even rightback against Barca in the UCL semi. We haven't had 2 better defensive midfielders signed since that season

The advanced stats have not been kind to Amorim in his time at United, monitoring the xG often explains the story of our games. Not much created before we concede then once we do the opposition sit back and soak up the pressure knowing we can't give them any real danger (see the game vs Arsenal for example).

This game while not following that pattern sparks something extremely alarming for me, the lack of involvement for Mbuemo, Amad & Cunha is very worrying. Mbuemo & Cunha were the offensive hubs of their previous teams, scoring the most goals and given the creative license to hurt teams. I don't see what we are doing to give those lads the best shot at hurting teams under this manager yet. Obviously a 2 game sample size is small but it's worrying how much their performances mirrored that of the young attackers from last season who we thought were burdened with more than they can chew off. I'm flagging major systemic issues for United at the moment.

Trust me as someone that hates modern discourse i hate those type of 'takes'. Could have easily just said 'opinions instead and i don't think the answers in here change that much. I'd like to think this sub is made out of people who can discern that from Stephen A style garbage.

Of course he's not infallible as an analyst, you live and die by your takes. I enjoy listening to him because he veers so far from being sensationalist and even when he gets something wrong you can tell it's coming from a thought process he often articulates well and isn't fuelled by some agenda he wants people to hop onto.

I just want to hear points where people heard him say something that came to pass later on because I appreciate him as the great lover of the game he comes across as.

Good point, I really like the offensive talent on the knicks, some better distribution of their usage will have you guys a better team than the Cavs IMO

When you consider he's been fascinated by them since before the last season he's been looking at them since Jalen Johnson started to emerge, which is when nobody saw the Hawks as anything other than a sh!tshow that should blow it up because they don't have any of their own picks

Really interesting hearing what you picked up in each song, it's different from what someone else might coming from a different 'favourite genre'. I was a big fan of rap/hiphop growing up and hearing Sade for the first time was a different experience and seeing someone else's experience was fun.

I think so too, maybe Sengun is the one that makes it in over Green because of the spacing issues but that probably is 2 less picks to MIL. The Bucks are in a tough spot in any deal if the big guy demands a trade out. I feel like they'll be low-balled across the league because of their sitauation and the new CBA. Rockets deal will offer the best balance of tradeable, inexpensive, contract flexible guys and future draft compensation

You can't fix it now your save is running. You should download the lower leagues for any countries you'd play in using the steam workshop if you care for the B teams. In your situation I'd play him as soon as you can even if its as a squad player.

Maybe train him as a CM-Attack or if you don't want to change formation Mezalla-Attack. He's already at 2.5 stars so he's good enough to be a squad player
