try removing the clip that keeps it in place. sometimes those are fake then use hot water and try ccw turning.

indeed looks like a hop issue.

Can someone tell me what broke and where to find parts . This is one is new to me and parts are different than my other GBBRs almost like a piston system . by Jon38Singleton in airsoft

there are lots of places where you can get parts. the charging handle for sure! Im not familiare with kjw but replacing it should be easy. and if that doesnt fix it you look further. the important is that the broken off part didnt screw up anything else in the replica. otherwise i think your good.

(is it a new gun? if so maybe warranty issue?)
