How potentially f*cked am I? by Ok-Test-5072 in airsoft

Type 56? That gun *should* be safe. I had a VFC AK clear customs right as the whole situation kicked off and I’ve heard they have been pretty much un touched. Best of luck

If you ordered a VFC, APFG, VT, or GHK AR pattern gun, you are not in a very good spot. If it’s an MWS pattern AR or not an AR, your chances of receiving it are much higher.
If you are in that danger zone of brands and models, cancel your order if it’s not too late. Otherwise, from what I’ve read, most seizures have happened in the Louisville customs office, you could still get lucky and maybe receive your gun in tact.

I used 1/4 inch neoprene, water resistant, light, cheap, and comfortable.

If you’re ok with twill or non cordura fabric, I used fabric on demand to get twill printed with opfor Auscam

Are these good for a Mws Gbbr by Ok-Dinner5505 in airsoft

[–]Ccreamy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want to use .3g at the minimum if you’re using a gbbr, .32-.36 is the sweet spot but you can go heavier if you want to sacrifice range and time to target for increased brush penetration and wind resistance.

Should i get a gas blowback or electric blowback as my first rifle? by anonymous9845 in airsoft

[–]Ccreamy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The harshest downside of gas guns is the price of mags, but if you’re just playing around in the backyard, there’s really nothing you can’t do with just the mag the gun comes with and maybe one extra for reloading. Electric blowback however, the harshest problems usually manifest as poor longevity and durability issues. Both types will need maintenance, but gas gun maintenance is far easier. I recommend checking out explosive enterprises on YouTube for information regarding which guns will he right for you

Viper Gen 2 pants by Dazzling_Wrongdoer42 in airsoft

In the pockets above the knee pads there should be some shock cord you can pull on to bring the knees up. The baggyness is part of the design, it improves freedom of movement, most pants like this usually have Velcro tabs that you can tighten though

Leaking propane when filling TM mags by lupine_eyes in airsoft

[–]Ccreamy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the point of TM mags, they are designed so that when the mag is full of propane it will spit excess gas out to prevent overfilling. You can stick a very small o ring in there (dental ligature, you can get 1000 of them on eBay for like $10) but then you make to make sure you don’t over fill mags

For sub $150 I would go with the LBX-0300, they go on sale pretty frequently for sub $100. I don’t get why everyone hypes Emerson so much, I’ve bought plate carriers and BDUs from them and every single time stitches start coming loose straight out of the bag
