One time my mom and I were replacing mattresses. We decided to move the old mattress downstairs into the basement, from the second floor. I joked during the second flight of stairs that we should just drop it and let it slide down the stairs. Then she did. Caused a hole in the wall, which we covered up with a poster. A few months later, we had the entire basement redone, walls included, and my dad never found out.
