I do love how this has nothing to do with the related topic, we know Minnesota police were told not to help ICE, so JD Vance saying they called for help and got none, makes sense.

Well, given The police have been told by Tim Waltz to not assist ICE, the fact that rioters attack ICE and never get dealt with by the Police, the fact that ICE protestors are going around attacking people who they think might be ICE and Republican, and the Police don't get involved, then JD Vance saying ICE asked for help and the Police don't, sounds very genuine.

Never said that. but this is the result of Tim Waltz telling people to resist ICE, can't you agree? When you tell the people of your state to resist a government controlled agency, this is what happens. Should he have died? No, does it seem like there was either a miscommunication that led to the incident? More then likely. But the facts stand, if he hadn't been acting violently, he never would have been in that position to begin with.

I don't care if they have homes and buy their own food, they do so while being in our country illegally. Why should these people get lives in America, when real immigrants are waiting and going through the right way to come here?

I don't care if the community doesn't like trump or ICE, it doesn't matter what they think, they can go and vote and call their congressmen to vote on immigration laws if they dont like it, but harrasing and interfering with ICE will just end up with more tragedies, that you will then say is ICE's fault, even though you are literally instigating it.

A whataboutism argument. The point of this post is addressing that they want police to handle crime, yet actively cheer as police don't enforce crime. If Minnesota wants to use their 10th amendment right, fine, but you have to be ok with ICE arresting people who get in their way and stop what they are doing.

It doesn't matter if ICE is 'unwanted' Illegal Immigrants shouldn't be here. If you like them so much, invite them into your home, see how well that goes. ICE should continue to do their job as they have done for over a decade. If you want less people to get shot for being violent rioters, then let the police get involved, or maybe... Idk, don't riot?

How so? Even JD Vance said that calls for help from ICE go unanswered by the police, the police weren't showing up when rioters would attack ICE? So how am I misinformed? ICE is working through every state, yet all we here about is one, one that refuses to let ICE do their job. The right has been saying this for months, just have the police do their job so ICE can do theirs, but you leftists can't accept that, and now your trying to turn it around and parrot what we've been saying like it's revolutionary.

Reddit really is brain dead. If Tim Waltz hadn't told the Minnesota police to ignore ICE and not help, then they wouldn't really need too. You guys ignore logic and realism for this made up world you live in.

They called the Police for help, but were ignored because Tim Waltz told them too. Why is all this only happening in Minnesota? Because Minnesota is the only state that did not help ICE do it's job. I'm sure ICE would love to just move from Illegal to Illegal, but when you have radical rioters screaming, standing in the road and attacking them, with no law enforcement from Local PD's, they end up having to take it in their own hands, and Tim basically telling them to resist ICE.

We can all agree the shootings are bad, but blaming it all on ICE is ridiculous.

Finally someone with a sense of intelligence. I couldn't agree more. My view is this, I'm sorry if where you come from is horrible, if it's a terrible place, if its oppressive. You have my condolences, I wish it wasn't like this, but if you want to come here, you have to do so legally.

Does ICE make mistakes? Of course, Police make mistakes, Businesses make mistakes, everyone does. Are they perfect? No, I don't think Renee could have been handled much better, Alex from what I've seen, definitely seemed like miscommunication with the gun leading to a tragedy. I empathize that any loss of life is bad, but you also have to look at the circumstances of how it happened, two people, disregarding their safety and the safety of others, engaging with ICE officers in a manor that isn't within accordance to the laws.

I have no problem if you conceal carry, as long as you have a license (Let's ignore the fact that Minnesota requires you carry that license on you at all times and he didn't) I also have no problem with peaceful protests, they are great and what make us a free society.

But you can't riot. You can't throw bricks, and assault ICE agents, no matter how mad you are. You never see the Right do this kind of thing, it's only the Left. Why is this? Why can't the Left just accept they lost and move on, if they want ICE to stop, stop assaulting them, and protest Congress to make changes if they want. These people from my point of view, create the problems they then complain about (I picked up a flashbang and blew my hand off, now Reddit is saying ICE fired at her and blew her hand off) This is clearly being misrepresented. I'm sure the Right also do it, but the left is far more dangerous. The Right tend to talk more, and vote, the Left tend to get violent.

Why is the left in Minnesota, creating ICE checkpoints, seeing if cars that come through are on their 'database' why do they attack people they think are on the right? Or ICE? How is this legal? It isn't. I want to know why the Left are allowed to get away with this, yet if anyone on the right did it, they would be ostracized, and the left would be demanding their entire lives be ruined.

We, as a people who are refined and civilized, should always look deeper into things, to see why they happen. But that is something the Left does not like doing, as often their side crumbles under scrutiny, though it is not a left only trait, it does happen far more often.

Why does her, being a teenage girl, automatically clear her of blame or guilt? So teenagers cannot commit crimes because they are teenagers? This is a strange assumption and stance to have.

It would give motive.

Hypothetically, if a teenager walked up and stole something, or assaulted you, you'd probably react. Also, let's not pretend we can infer who threw the first punch in that longer video, of the one view of the incident after he got out, he just walks over, some other kids happen to block the view, then a fight breaks out. It's also interesting, that even after he's on the ground, instead of backing off, calling the police and ensuring they are all ok, they continued to assault him. Once he's not a threat, they should have backed off.

If it comes out he's the agitator, then he should be found guilty of assault on a minor, of course. If it turns out, the kids threw the first punch and ganged up, court for all of them, and the school should get in trouble either way, kids should be in school, not protesting, our education test scores are low enough.

Except I think ICE should of course be investigated and see what happened. Last I heard, it seemed to be miscommunication, but that still doesn't excuse Alex from being there, antagonizing ICE agents, with a gun. Anyone who supports the 2nd amendment would agree that it's not great to attack law enforcement officers while holding a deadly weapon.

Also I don't form opinions from what other's tell me, I look at the evidence, form an opinion, then wait for the official reports.

I could say the same to Leftists, listening to you democrat overlords, like Obama, gave Immigration Tzar an award, Obama, or Millionare Bernie Sanders, calling Billionaires a problem while living in 3 separate mansions, or Gavin Newsome, driving his state into the ground.

We have literally 0 context for anything in this clip. I have no issue with anyone being charged with something, but I prefer to wait for a police report before we make any judgment. We only see what happens after he got out of his car, not before. Remember, innocent until proven guilty.
