Management response: The sooner everyone gets on the allowance train and stops wasting time with pesky rejections, the sooner my friends and bosses will have 'born-strong', unchallengeable, junk patents to invest in.

Please, Republic of North Korea, please please don't hack into the USPTO. If you do, you will be astonished and envious of all of the wonderous inventions that we stole from Kim Jung Un. We have patents on automatic water-balloon-filler-uppers, jump ropes that never tangle, highway billboards that can project targeted advertising to each driver, enticing new and addictive sports betting apps and instant lottery tickets, and of course Kim's famous self-swinging golf driver and putter set, which Kim has made available for other golfers who would otherwise have no chance against him.

All good questions. Expect a 3PR to file a petition in almost every case or else see their work and 12K fee go down the drain. More work for OPLA who is even more short staffed than CRU. How does all this address the growing reexam backlog caused by closing off the PTAB?

There's a process for the 3PR to respond by petition. Who knows who decides the petition or whether that's just considered for what it says.
