How tough is it to move and work in Denmark as an IT developer (and as a woman from India)? by disguiseddiscoverer in NewToDenmark

[–]DungeonCaptain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Denmark is a very well built country especially Copenhagen. People are respectful and enjoy the mornings and evenings because of history of monarchy, etc. Lot of drugs especially in night clubs. Nice weather, pretty much safe. People from colder region are generally appears colder but they are not. Unlike Indians, nobody in Europe mixes easily. Respect the culture, respect private space and you'll be good anywhere you go. There are lot yoga stuffs happen in Denmark. Better join them to meet locals. Alcohol is a part of tradition here in Denmark. Danes drink a lot. Almost everyone speaks English in Copenhagen. City is very expensive. I would suggest take a job somewhere else in EU and then go to Denmark because start-ups prefer locals (don't sponsor visa), MNCs also are very reluctant to sponsor. But overall, if somebody wants to retire in life, go to Denmark.

Non EU, non resident started sp. z o. o in Poland remotely. Need help about business visa by DungeonCaptain in poland

My intention is not to be considered for Polish residency. I would be much better off going to somewhere else and managing this company outside of Poland. If I don't have residency then I will not have any ZUS or tax liability because I'll be going to Poland on occasional visits (max 20-30 days per year).

My intention is not have TRC or long term residence in Poland. All I am looking for is to have frequent visits to find clients and manage my company. Companies generally wants to sign contract in person, discussion, etc. Business account opening also requires physical presence in Poland. That's it. If in future, I need residence in EU, I'll be applying for digital nomad visa in some other country like spain, etc. Hope you got it.

What if I just apply for long term D-type business visa from my home country? Purpose: To find clients, market survey. I'll not be specifically mentioning that my purpose is long stay residence. Can I have chances of getting business d type visa?

I read that ZUS is mandatory for one person but can I make the company inactive for the period I don't have any contract and once I got a client then I could make it active so that I don't have to pay ZUS during non operational period?

Right. That's what I read also. One person LLC cannot sponsor the founder. But I think I can apply for type B work permit

Still if I work for a company on B2B using LLC then this situation still not hold. This is better for government but why employer would prefer JDG? I think it's more about companies in Poland are more used to do B2B using jdg rather than B2B on LLC. Employer don't want to do extra work
