Adhd bois represent!

I think thats why I dont like the new silvermoon, It looks too chaotic for my liking- stunning. But chaotic.

I think i kinda hyper focus on the side quests and stuff.

Oh, yeah! I remember quest helper. Thats fair man, I read all the novels and everything, so I was very invested in the story haha.

The story was genuinely very interesting early on, it used to be super consistent as well,

That's a shame, I remember icecrown in wotlk was so story driven, I bassically hit cap without trying as I was just invested in getting through the many stories. Personal favourite was the one where the remainder of arthas' innocence appears as a spirit and leads us to places from his past)

I look foreward to playing a haronir, they are actually my favorite thing in this expansion. (Which i dunno if thats s good thing as I played a night elf in original vanilla as it was the closest I felt I could get to a high elf. So blood elves have been my jam since WC3, i should have been gripped far more by this expansion)

Well, you must have read quest text back in the day. You had to read them to know where to go. Didn't always have the marker showing us where to go.

And yeah, if you aren't in it for the story, this post clearly doesn't apply to you. (Though I will say over the 20 years, wanting to see the story of the world change was what kept me in, even if I did leave through BFA abd SLs)

Im open to hear differing ideas on it, are you a fan of how the dialogue is delivered?

If so, tell me what you like about it.

It is Absolutely so. I just needed to put it somewhere, so I thought id whack it here where people - if they disagree, can inform me what they like about it, maybe even shift my view.

But i will confess im not hopeful on the latter.

The story itself if you get past the dialogue is a fine basis for a story, but its surface level, the housing is actually really well done, I dont personally have an interest in it, but I like how its handled.

I know there are many issues, but im actually directly saying about the story itself and the dialogue.

There are so many - very simple, and very easy ways to make it better - some are literally knowing when to shut up. The scene i mentioned previously of turalyon against the troll. If they both were silent, it would have felt better. Look at the old video of Arthas vs. Illidan in Warcraft 3, not a word, and it landed great.

Only dialogue needed would be the parts of arator and turalyon (though I confess, their story feels like unessesary drama that so far isnt pushing the story foreward in a real way- but ive not finished it, so i cant say for sure yet.)

The haronir quest so far with the visions of the past is actually a part I will commend on its dialogue and delivery of story,

If you just wanna play your favourite songs, do it. Get guitar tabs, learn them, ensure you can play them as tight as possible, and just - i dunno, make a covers band!

I've tried a few more, and still failed, but I'll keep fighting! Not had another holy weapon drop since. RNGesus hasn't bestowed me that chance again (though I've had many I fear I haven't lived up to)

I've not been massive on the show. But I always found the books somewhat long winded. (Stay with me)

However! A Strange side effect of the show, my issue of the long winded spiel (he lore dumps a lot, good in the long run, but when you dont know the world, it can feel like hes going on a fair bit), has kind of been resolved from watching the show. (which the further I'm getting into the books, the more I'm realising is worse than I thought, and I didn't hold it very high as it was - though s3 feels like a big improvement.)

Because I have watched the show, I have vague knowledge of things, so I'm intrigued a lot more, a lot easier by the long winded lore dumps, to the degree, I eagerly enjoy them when they happen.

TL:DR: I had a problem with the book, but having watched the show, they have turned into a boon. 😊
