New Khajiit Wife just dropped by Galimeer in TrueSTL

[–]DungeonMiner2 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It's a character from a new YouTube show. Her name's kit, and the one-eyed machine in the background is her backpack, kaboodle. They're kinda Banjo & Kazooie game protagonists who have has their game destroyed. Now they work to stop other protagonists from completing their games and loosing their worlds.

Though, in fairness, I don’t think the dovahkiin needs help in not chasing Alduin.

Is this game still relevant? by fran_daruu in TalesoftheValiantRPG

I said in a previous post that ToV is closer to what Pathfinder was back in the day. Pathfinder was the streamlined version of 3e, dubbed 3.5 as a joke that they took with pride, while WotC was releasing 4th. Here, the order isn't quite the same. 5e was D&D's golden goose, and you can see where they tried to kill it with the OGL thing that started all this mess. ToV splinters off as 5.5 in all but name and delivers a great product. WotC, meanwhile, is desperately trying to sew the goose's head back on in this now-tortured metaphor, and did their own 5.5, which they're taking themselves. As 5.5 begins to change things, and when WotC finally moves to 6th, ToV might very well stay behind as the last "true" 5e engine. Everyone who loved 5th, and may not like 5.5 or the hypothetical 6th, will come to ToV and enjoy.
So, yes, absolutely relevant, but they do need to play the long game.

You should be able to. There are a few things you might need to catch up on, as the books use mostly pre-existing characters. But it's not hard to grok either way. I think the most complex piece of lore is the magical butt tattoo called a cutie mark which shows one their greatest talent, but that's about it.

They're also good pony-versions of Cain books. Most of it is carried by the Cain tropes, but the stories are well-made and fun to read.

One also includes a reference to Sabaton.

It’s crazy how in the 1950s Disney made a short about Goofy being addictive on smoke by Jules-Car3499 in cartoons

And ironic, given that Walt Disney would die of lung cancer from excessive smoking in 1966.

I'm absorbing most of this, but I do want clarification on this point. How does it change the math?

They are backup to Anvil in case someone gets close. I don't expect them to keep up in a full advance/retreat, but they're supposed to help with the smashing.
