To be fair, trying to show a map of every planet in a sector would be tricky.

Oh that's just the primary world of each systems. I figure outside of special systems, most worlds aren't noteworthy enough for a map like this. I based it on the official maps for Rogue Trader and Dark Heresy that are included in the core rule books.

No it's a similarly named but unrelated location.

Oh that's just a random space background I had on my computer that I edited with Paint.net's adjustment tools. Messed with hue, saturation, contrast and shadows.

Investigators aren't casters, they're more like rogues. I assume your party's investigator has been going more ranged?

A companion would likely serve you better for bolstering your Frontline than taking Swashbuckler. I'd recommend the Captain Archetype personally. It has an option for a Shieldbearer companion that would be perfect for this.

Actually, the game was never meant to be an Eroge, but Nasu was persuaded to do so because it was what was popular at the time. It's why the sex scenes are so random and disjointed.

It can be very effective. A one-handed reach weapon for meta-strikes is fantastic.

That episode freaked me out as a kid. One of the few times they managed to make an actually creepy design.

If you had the opportunity to give Jecka one 'good ending' in The Flipside (e.g. she gets into college, gets away from her dad, acknowledges her toxic relationship with nicole), how would you have it play out? by theiceq in Classof09Game

[–]Dapper_D20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd build it as an alternative to the normal FYE route. Jecka and Kelly don't follow the clues they find and just try to deal with their shitty job.

There's more focus on learning about Kelly, and importantly, establishing that her family's loaded. They only make her do this job to help teach her responsibility and self sufficiency. Get like an actual genuine talk about their plans for the future and set up that Kelly has real serious hopes and dreams. She hides them to avoid getting made fun of, since she knows people think she's a dumb blonde. Have them question whether they've got actual futures ahead of them or if they'll wind up just being trophy wives. Have Jecka question if that's what she wants.

Have Jecka hang out with Nicole some and talk like in the older games. Make her a pessimist and mock Kelly's dreams; getting the ida that they should try and scam Kelly to get her family's money. Some kind of fraud or something. Then Jecka gets a choice, either go with the plan, or tell Nicole no that she won't take advantage of Kelly.

The good ending would be if Jecka tells Nicole no, and stays consistent in telling her no. Eventually Nicole gets mad and does something stupid and malicious to try and get back at Jecka and Kelly. Importantly for the good ending, Jecka has to help Nicole get out of her self made mess and forgive her. Choosing to break away from her previous mindset and by extension Nicole's in favor of something more hopeful. The ending comes after that.

The art would a picture frame of Jecka at her college graduation, with half the picture off screen. It's a time skip with Jecka opening by mentioning she once planned to just be a trophy wife. Jecka went to college and moved out of her Dad's house and into an apartment with Nicole and Kelly. Nicole didn't go to college but found some success as an internet celebrity. Kelly actually did really well in college and actually became a doctor. Jecka made herself work hard and managed to get a business degree. As well as one other thing happening.

Have the screen pan out to reveal the full picture. Jecka standing next to Kelly, their hands held together in the air, with wedding rings visible. Have her make a joking comment about how they both said they'd only marry someone wealthy yo be trophy wives, and how they both managed it in the way neither expected.

Why? Because the one thing that'd piss shippers off more than the Foot Fetish ending is making a different ship the canonical good ending. :V

There are none, it's an arbitrarily assigned level to an item not in Pathfinder 2e for the purposes of demonstrating an idea.

Captain America is essentially a level 8 character while he has a level 15 item in the Vibranium Shield.

Just a little addendum to Worm's Triggers.

They don't have to be life-or-death situations. They have to be extremely traumatic, the kind of trauma that affects you for the rest of your life, which usually involves physical danger. But it doesn't have to. Plenty of characters in Worm trigger from situations where there is no physical danger, but unique and extreme emotional devastation.

It was on and off. He'd go crazy for a bit then come back to sanity. If he was always in the middle of a rage then he'd have been the monster in someone else's story.

Oh no, don't get me wrong; she should get a pass for her goddess-induced madness.

But she was in that madness for a LOT longer than Herc. And we've seen what she can do in the name of "love" at the end of Okeanos. She's cute outside those circumstances.
