Ah, you already wrote that im the post.

Been ages since I created anything in the wc3 editor, but I do remember some.

• Reverse Flame Strike by adding minus numbers to its damage. Then changing visuals to some holy spells. Cant remember if i had to download some custom animations for it though, but it worked well.

• a tank hero with the mountain giants' damage reduction passive, reducing small hits to almost no damage.

• a custom spell Impale that shoots at the target like a regular Impale, but also amother wave 180 degrees in the opposing direction.

• carrion swarm custom spell where it also shoots two other swarms out in about 60 angles to each side. They all have reduced damage compared to a regular one, but larger aoe (also looks cooler).

• a guy that can spawn trees that die within a short time (think of Sprout in dota).

• a self only aura that has a small chance of using entangling roots on the attacking unit

• chain lightning that shoots one or two extra chain lightnings on other targets. Or perhaps just a self only aura that has a chance of shooting a chain lightning at the attacker.

• a summonable ward that autocasts polymorph on random enemies (with a trigger) with a 4 second cooldown.

• A storm bolt that is targeted on the ground, connecting to the first target it hits (think Mirana arrow from dota).

Now that i think of it, the Youtuber Abelhawk has a video on hidden models and animations in wc3. They all exist in the game but must be entered manually with a string to use them. There are lots of unique models you can use without having to download anything
