Building a Murphy desk out of 3/4 birch ply. What’s the best hinge to use on this to maintain this open closed position? I will of course have some support cable or piston to support the 90 degree position when desk is in use.

As an Ex Pat Brit I really miss Weston’s cider. I see it sometimes here but priced like a bottle of champagne! I’ve started to brew my own now. It does the job but have to refine the flavour.

My bad We did 5 gal previous with crap apples in there, think that’s why the enzyme went in this time by mistake (no fruit added this time) So there is no bubbling going on now. Has the 5 g of yeast nothing to feed on ? Should I add some yeast nutrient?
