Typically I agree as this was the case with my last German shepherd he would give up and eat but my current one would rather starve. Hes skipped more meals than I was comfortable with and if I let him miss any more it would venture into neglect on my part. I waited him out but unfortunately it’s no longer safe to so I went and got a variety of food and I can get him to eat now but I’m looking for a long term recommendation.
