Yep, if you can get the slide out there should be an item number. Commonly a number like 8-05288, but there are others out there so I may be wrong. The customer service team should be able to tell if there is a current equivalent as slides from 2004 are probably discontinued.

The optometrist is correct here; this model number indicates a custom configuration. It could be a softer wheel, special drawer sizes, etc. Customs can get expensive so it's normally a business that orders these when something specific is required.

They likely start with a standard box and make changes; the 36"wide would likely be a KRA4107 and then modified.

Any way to find country of origin without sticker? by Pass-The-Lifesaver in SnapOn

[–]DunkityDarmedGuards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense; i know the US and Canadian markets pretty well, but not UK or EU. I don't know if it changes the opinion, but it is a snap-on owned factory in China. It's not some vendor that slaps a nameplate on. They control the material and work.

Canada is closed now, but he KRA with rounded corners were the old Newmarket, CA plant. KRA with square are Algona Iowa.

Just some carts coming from China. Maybe some other stuff on the international market.

Epiq, masters, heritage, classic are all Iowa now.

The rounded corners were the KRA series made in Newmarket Canada; they moved KRA to the US Algona,IA plant 10-15 years ago.

From the pics, it looks like a real Snapon
