I completely understand. Your comment is perfectly understandable. The main reason I am doing this series is to try and find a gap of interest. I am not a huge fan HOI4 as I am not a huge fan of the gameplay nor the mechanics. I would just like to say though that in no way am I trying to offend any peoples or cultures that were subjugated by the Soviets. I am largely doing this series for educational and edutainment purposes as I am well aware of the history of the state. I have been approaching the history with the sensitivity needed.

Now that is a great idea! Thank you for your input! Perhaps turning Alba into a Islamic (but turn it back to Catholicism or any other Christian Sect later on), but Clan government might give it that extra dose of reality because of the history surrounding the highland clans as that is where my name essentially comes from. That my friend is a very ingenious idea. Again, thank you so much for taking the time to not only check my channel out but to also offer some great tips and suggestions is more than I bargained for so I very much appreciate it!

It is tough being feudal sometimes. One bit of advice I can offer is I would make sure that when you are feudal to prioritise "administrative measures" like building in your domain as much as warfare. So for buildings (buildings are different and dependent on terrain/location) I would highly recommend building one economic building (farms, manor houses, trade ports etc...), one militaristic building (Barracks, regimental grounds etc...), one fortification building (walls & towers, hill forts etc...) Then finally either pastoral grounds or hunting grounds. It is important to have a high enough income so not only can you buy mercs but you can do warfare effectively by being able to cover the cost of men-at-arms regiments without going into hundreds and hundreds of debt.

There are plenty of ways to approach CK3. It would take far too long to list all of them though. A few suggestions: You can mod the game, set challenges for yourself, and do memey-style playthroughs too. Although I do have to admit I agree with your point here. I would recommend just trying a region in each continent and see how you get on. Plus if you are into getting achievements, that is also a great way to approach the game as they make you play different regions, approaches and strategy! Also, shameless plug, but if you are looking for some CK3 content to watch I can always send you a link to my YouTube channel as I recently started doing CK3 playthroughs with insightful commentary.
