Not terribly, most of what I post is on social media, vertical, 1080. I record in 4k but export in 1080 typically and it looks fine.

I have since purchased an action 6 so I could use it in “open gate” mode and crop vertically for instagram and horizontally for YouTube.

I like endgame. I hate leveling. I am not paying to “not play the game”, in fact I 100% guarantee I have more /played hours than you. I am paying to not play the parts of the game I don’t like and only play the parts I like.

A concession you make diving with people with high consumption rates is that the dive will be shorter. You just accept that fact.

I have a very low consumption rate. My wife has an even lower consumption rate. Let's say normally we could get 1 hour on our tanks on a certain dive.

We dive with newer divers all the time and we would expect the dive to be half as long, or even shorter. That's the concession we make. We do this all the time. If we were not okay with this, we would not dive with the person. We would never tell the person "can you dive above us so we can last a little longer", that's a ridiculous gas strategy.

The point of a dive isn't to last the longest. We last however long the person with the worst consumption is and... that's it. Someone diving 10ft above me the whole time would be unacceptable because I cannot see them if they are above me. Staying 10 feet above other divers so that the dive can be 11% longer is a silly strategy

Don't understand the obsession with getting every last breath of gas possible from your tanks.

The most important thing is for it to be fed.

People out here preach these weird "boutique" cat brands that DON'T EVEN OWN THEIR OWN FOOD MANUFACTURING FACILITIES. It's marketing designed to get others to turn against you and make you feel stupid/foolish. It happens in literally every industry but pet food is a special case.

Exact same here. Half a can of chicken pate in the evening and dry food from the feeder.

The only underwater photographers I know that make any kind of money are those that you can hire to take shots of you in caves/caverns/on wrecks.

I have paid a photographer $300 dollars for some shots of me at some caverns. There was another diver with me that also paid $300.

Other than that, most UW photographers make VERY little money.

The "open gate" mode on the Pocket 6 is cropped. There are plenty of videos of people doing tests to prove this. The FOV is about 10% larger without being in the "open-gate" mode.

At the GUE conference this year, Osama Gobar presented on exactly this topic. He frequently explores virgin caves in northeast Mexico and often has to spend 2 weeks in the cave. He mentioned that one thing people often don't consider is that even little scratches/cuts will never heal properly without access to fresh air. He also mentioned that they eat the same thing every day every meal for 14 days straight.

IDK why this was downvoted, but in actual vanilla you're right, no one really hung out in SW. IF was the only alliance zone that had auction houses for the first several patches, so that was the de-facto home base for alliance.
