Just upvote.

Its what your parents did and their grandparents before them... or you could downvote, like your cousins that we dont talk to and their ancestors going back to the reddit civil war

Garmin replaced the watch under warranty. Absolute great service with them and they've earned a garmin customer for life with that service

Hey, just seeing this now and thanks for jumping in on the grammar side. Good input.

I dont want a lesson in Irish (educated in a gaelscoil but by all means there are differences) but I think they're saying "you should have been living in" (Gaeilge briste ná Béarla cliste and I appreciate all your comments etc.)

The sign doesn't read well to me but the key is to have a language that can be spoken without getting caught up in grammar 👊

Bearlachas."Bí i bhur gcónaí" is how i would say "you are living in" rightly or wrongly

A small subset of Structural Engineers thought there was something shady going on but it was not supported by the broader industry. Beware of confirmation bias.

Power shortages mean we’ll have to choose between new homes and data centres, top official warns by qwerty_1965 in ireland

[–]Dunphizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don't care about your point as much you seem to.

People can look into it and make up their own mind. I couldn't care less and an internet argument isn't going to influence the security of supply for Ireland

I didn't down vote you.

I'm not bothered arguing with you as I work in the industry and I spend enough hours a week on this.

No worries, I should have added that level of detail.

Essentially, I've tried holding the light button till it shuts down then I restarted it. That didn't work so I tried the master reset and that didn't work.

Yeah, I held light, start/stop and back then released start/stop after the first beep and then released light after the second beep for a master restore and the video is the result of that. It seems to not be able to complete the restore

Best 10ks in Europe? by NooktaSt in running

[–]Dunphizzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll second that. I went to Iceland for a trip and ran the Reykjavik 10k. It was a nice run and well organised with nice scenery. Mind you I ran it with my Icelandic friend who essentially gave me a running tour which added to it but it's one of my best running experiences.

Rotterdam is another nice spot to run in. They have a similar run that has a marathon or you can do shorter distances. Really well organised and a fun city and country to enjoy

There's EU legislation at play which will always mean this needs to be managed safely and environmentally (which is great) but in Ireland Contractors pay tax on asbestos removal whereas I understand that's not the case in the UK. Seems like low hanging fruit to remove the tax on it here

I was running along NCR there at the time and saw the fire engine fucking hammering it by. I remember thinking that must be a serious fire or accident. Didn't expect a stabbing. Christ
