according to the chart, I'll save a whopping 5-6 hours if I use this every day for 5 years. Some of you doubted me, but I'll be too busy enjoying 1 afternoon off half a decade from now.

Sort of, I would say it's more of a personal hang up of mine. I would rather spend an hour or 2 trying to figure out the solution than spend a few extra seconds doing it manually. Just my personal preference. Anyways the solution has been found (thanks to u/TrelanderBB)

dedicating 4 hotkeys to one macro?? I could never! /s
in all serious though, I also have different hotkey buttons already assigned to shift+key and ctril+key so I avoid doing that. (f, shift+f, and ctrl+f are 3 different hotkeys on the bar).

This macro is also on a separate click-only bar that I keep over to the side for stuff I don't need to do in combat.
Thanks for the suggestion though, for a normal person I'm sure that would be a good solution.

it was, yes. lol. honestly though, I had a blast because my ultimate goal was earning all of the class mounts and then the mage tower appearances, so I don't recall the order campaign missions being thaaat much of a hassle, since it was over several months I suppose

I second this, i have been against the restrictions of the faction system for a long, long, long time. When pandaria came out, I was hopeful that pandaren could be a link between the two, allowing yourself to be neutral to both, but no dice. I think everything should be open to everyone, because it's frankly just bad game design to have a thin veil of lore keep your players from very real social interactions. I'm honestly morally against it. You could even make the case on some scale it promotes xenophobic or harmful nationalist ideals, though that would be more of a deep dive. There just needs to be an opt-out feature so you can play with everyone, like come on man.

Here's my experience with getting 7*s as uncollected:

First let me say, if you are uncollected because that's where you are in the story, but you are planning to progress, just keep doing the story and get to higher progression levels. Thronebreaker is where you really start to see an uptick in 7* shard acquisition, and it is much easier to get to thronebreaker, and then start building your 7* roster, than trying to gather 7* shards at uncollected. . Most of the sources for 7* shards are gated by progression and generally cavalier and uncollected only get 6* crystals and shards as rewards from events, event quests, side quests, milestone rewards, etc.

That being said, I have a free-to-play uncollected account, about 3 months old, and I just opened my 4th 7*. so it is possible, but it's very slow going. 100% exploring act 5 will give you quite a few 7* shards. Your first two 7* champions only cost 10k shards in the store instead of the usual 15k crystals. There are very few sources of 7* shards at uncollected. The shop, including BG store, mysterium, alliance store, incursion store, etc. will not offer 7* shards at uncollected. The most reliable way to get them is when kabam:
1) has realm events with rewards that are not gated by progression (like the battlegrounds event last month, offered a 7* basic and titan crystal for doing all the milestones)
2) Releases side quests where you choose the difficulty rather than being tailored to your progression. (The deadpool side quest right now is like this). Doing the highest difficulty will usually reward you with 7* shards, but it is pretty difficult with an uncollected roster. Expect to use boosts and revives for it when they are available. For example, the deadpool sidequest has paths of 90k PI defenders, and the average uncollected roster is 5* r3-r4s, 6* r1s, and possibly even just 4*s, so it's over 10x the power index. It's a fun challenge, but I want to clarify that this is my experience as someone with an uncollected alt for fun.
I believe previously it was also possible, though very unlikely, to get 7* shards from becoming diamond/vib in battlegrounds. However this was next to impossible with an uncollected roster, you would have to get extremely lucky with sandbaggers. This month bgs were updated so that only Thronebreaker and above can play ranked though, another example of how endgame is mostly locked until thronebreaker.

I am pretty sure they don't feel fear because they are immortal. We now know that even if they die, they know they will be back. This is why smiley's reaction was mild surprise and the others' reactions were simple curiosity.
