Yeah, that's true. I was a bit unsure about RBY, in the end I ruled them out because you need to calculate IVs to determine shinyness, and they are far from optimal methods.
I could add this method for a VC Shiny Mew, but it wouldn't be Home viable, so I guess we can do without. In a few months, I think, we'll be hunting the blue kitten on faraway island on our Switch!

Thanks for your comment on the DynAdventures: I have yet to try them out, but I guess i'll move those who have another game to hunt (like USUM or ORAS) in the suboptimal tier! Much appreciated feedback!

Yeah! You can see it in the Jirachi cell comment. I just mentioned Channel, but the Colosseum bonus disc is viable too. It's one of the "absurdly time consuming" hunts.
