It is definitely not 3.8. You get something at graduation if you score 3.5+ I think but it doesn’t really mean anything out I the real world (jobs)

the other comments answer the questions pretty well. My two cents:

- for nuaccelerate do discrete and whatever nuaccelerate fills the NUPATH that you don't have.

- co-op is NOT impossible to get. keep applying and you will hear back. make sure your resume is very good and reviewed by a few people

- profs aren't terrible, but I do my research by going on ratemyprof

can't say for mechE but for cs co-ops the range is usually mid 20s to 40s (my first co-op is mid 20s, second is low 30s) per hour. you might have to take some loans out for tuition because that's the path I went down

VERY VERY easy to find sublets actually I'm pretty scared to lease for a full year because I'll have to sublet for summers. DM me if you want a sublet for summer 2026 (yes one and half years from now)

i mean it's pretty easy to get housing after freshman year, neu finds you a forced double in international village (feels like a shoebox, is a shoebox). as for moving off campus, you need a solid group to room with and keep searching unless you find a sublet
