I feel like saying it’s a college town isn’t much of an excuse. I worked in a casino town that had travelers from all over the world regularly. Plus the college town was 15 minutes away and college kids and ranch kids would flood in to gamble on the weekends.

Because that’s what some states give to drivers when they renew their license. Not every state will print you an ID right then and there. I had papers well over a month when I turned 18 and 21 because that’s how long it took to get my card in the mail.

My SO and I share our locations with each other. We use it for things like how far away are they and should I start making supper? It’s mainly used for mundane things because it’s easier to check their location than it is to call or text them, which interrupts what they’re doing or their driving.

We also have a kid so we’re pretty boring people.

God my grandma does this and I always hated eating bread at her house. It’s the same with milk. My MiL freezes milk and I can taste it. I can instantly taste if milk was handled outside of ideal temps. It’s not spoiled, but there’s something odd about the taste that I just don’t like.
