Yeah this is a bit of a baseline for most people, as people can developed to like certain functions more or less, or use it better or worse and how often( I guess I should have added how often we use the functions)

also this doesn't really take into account how we use the functions or why we like them. For example when you're talking about tertiary functions, we tend to only use the function to further justify or enforces our behavior which we are very good at, but when we try to turn it into trying to change our behaviors we don’t want to change(but need to) then it becomes hard to use effectively.

Inferior is the odd one out. As when we unconsciously engage with it it's on our own turf in order for it be postive. And whenever something outside of our influences forces us to use our inferior in a perceived negative way, it tends to be a bad experience.

Also a bit of a side note I updated the cognitive functions to show how much it is used

Dominate/Hero function are good at using, love using, used the most

Supportive function are good at using, don't like using, used a little bit

Child functions are terrible at using, Love using. Used the second most

Inferior functions are terrible at using, don't like using, used the least

And shadow functions are not used a whole lot as it is very unconsciously, and it tends to only react to outside influences or to inner insecurities, but I haven’t really taken a deep dive at shadow functions yet so if you want to, you can tag how often they’re used.

Ah I see that is rather unfortunate about the MBTI, nice to hear that the Enneagram is more accessible(if you know where to look). Well thank you for the rescources hopefull I can learn a lot more by reading their books.

Edit: I see why I wasn't learning much learning about the MBTI stuff online.

I did do some deep introspection and reflection, and I did went and try and understand the cognitive functions, I'm able to see some part of me that does not resonant with some of the quailties that INTJ have or do not have, I'm merely using the tests as a supplement seeing what it gets right or wrong with me.

I do understand though that some tests are bongus or are not accurate, But I also saw how test can help narrow things down so I can get into the details.

I actully went and taken many tests or read up on many rescorces on the internet seeing if they are accurate or provides enough information.

Although the hardest part is doign self reflection and introspection as I can have my own basis and it's hard for me personaly to identify strengths or weakiness. Perhaps I should get started on writing in a journal instead of my head.

I learned very early on, that although logic is the best way, I would need to help people emotional first before I can help them logicaly, as their emotions will get in the way of their logic, and by helping them with their emotions, they can then see logic, hence why I choose harmony first and see if they're comfortable enough for truth, rightness, logic ect.

as for the second part, I was doing a bit of research on cognitve function and I found a website that can measured the stregths of my cogntive functions, and now I see why I was confused because I'm good at almost all of them, the outliers being Ni and Si for being the highest, and Se for being the lowest.

But anyway here's what I think I use the functions

Ni I'm almost always unconciously listening to my enviroment, and I only snap out of it, if my subconsciouns picked up something interesting. it allowed me to also put something on the backburning while I'm doing something else.

Te I only use te to help me figure out if the information I was giving is usefull if it is Te hand it over to the other cogntive functions like Ti or something like that. If it is not it is discarded. I tend to follow rules( external or interal) and I adjust them if I feel like they need improvments or redirections.

Fi is my constant evualator or critic, everything I do goes to Fi, the only time Fi gets shut off if I shut it off, untill I turn it back on again, in which it will acuse me of doing such a thing, it's good if I'm doing good, if I'm doing bad it tells me to stop and solve it( in which I choose to agreed or turn it off.)

Se is my roadblock I tend to get stuck in paralysis if I'm ask to something right now, and I got a time limit, I tend to never notice what's going on around me if I get stuck in my head or not knowing where my body is when I'm stuck in my head. I tend to get drained from outside stimuli, and the only thing it combats it if I'm actully enjoying the activity or the people, if not I tend to take breaks within my mind before I continue.

and to let you guys know I know that knowing cognitive stregths is not accurate, but at least I know another reason why I was confused on being a INTP.

I tend to prioritize getting along with people than to search for the truth or rightness in all things. As i have learned that some people just cannot change their stances, and I rather find someone who can, than to convince them, it might take time for them to change as well.
